5 steps
to your individual HomeKit app

The design and setup of your VIZ Designer app couldn’t be easier. You are only 5 steps ahead of operating your home with a control app that suits your individual preferences perfectly:

Step 1:

Install the VIZ Designer app from the App Store and create your personal VIZ Designer Account.

Step 2:

Download the VIZ Designer software for MAC or Windows and install it on your computer. Start the software and log in with your personal VIZ Designer Account. Now the VIZ Designer software has been connected to your HomeKit devices and all device functions can then be used in the software and app.

Step 3:

Now it’s time to get creative! Use the powerful software to create your own individual app layout. Define pages and pop-ups. Add widgets, buttons, sliders or other controls to get a user interface you have imagined. Just drag & drop the elements on the page or a pop-up and feel free to position, scale and align them as needed. All control elements are available in many different colors and styles. Just choose your favorite style. You can also import your own pictures or images from the cloud in order to use them as buttons or as graphic elements in your app – e.g. the floor plan of your home. Or assign commands to swipe gestures. Your options with VIZ Designer are huge.

Step 4:

Once you have finished designing your app, you simply upload it to your personal VIZ Designer Cloud space. Changes and modifications can be done at any time and you can save additional app designs as well. Since the VIZ Designer software is only required for the design process and not for the operation, you can close it as soon as the editing process is complete. To control your devices, only the VIZ Designer app is required.

Step 5:

Finally download your new app design from your personal VIZ Designer Cloud space to the VIZ Designer app. That’s it! From now on you can use your newly designed home app including all functions on your iPhone or iPad. Have fun!
